Superga is a registered trademark that was born in Turin on October 3, 1911, when the "Walonic Martiny Shares Company" began producing vulcanized rubber articles from bicycle tires to toys. Shortly after, waterproof boots are launched, helping to improve working conditions in fields and paddles in a still predominantly agricultural Italy, and the first "Superga" rubber sole.
In 1929, the production of canvas shoes with vulcanized rubber bottom began. In 1934, Superga had dozens of models of footwear for sporting activities such as tennis, basketball, yachting and gymnastics. To date, the models and colors of Superga shoes are virtually infused, designed for both men and women and children of all ages. The Superga lends itself to being worn on a variety of occasions, both for a day at school and for a getaway with friends.
The idea behind the Superga shoes is very simple: shoe canvas is transformed into a palette to paint with original colors and fantasies.
